A little about the owner, Mike Holmes

As a Certified Professional Inspector trained by InterNACHI- the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors – combined with 35 years of experience as a licensed contractor and business owner, Mike has the knowledge to spot problems with materials, installation and workmanship that other inspectors might miss. The comprehensive “Standards of Practice” that he follows, ensures that you receive a detailed and accurate home inspection. He abides by a strict “Code of Ethics”, which puts your interests first and protects your rights as a consumer.

Mike has taken many hours of classes and and earned certifications in specialized courses to add to his expertise. He continues his approach of having a strong professional ethic and brings the same high quality approach to his work.

My Mission

My motto is “Not Your Ordinary Home Inspector” and here is what I mean by that… most inspections happen because of a Real Estate transaction (buying or selling). The goal is usually to get an inspection as quickly as possible, so escrow can close as soon as possible. But what is more important than a transaction based inspection is knowing the condition of the home, the safety of the home and how to protect the owner’s investment. Your home is usually your single largest investment. You and your family’s safety though is my primary concern.

The way I see it is, it’s my job is to inspect, educate and show you how to properly maintain your home – so you won’t have expensive repairs, or safety and health issues that could be detrimental to you and your loved ones.
